Once you figured out the public transport it wasn't too traumatic

Room was modern, spacious, clean. Aircon was running softly, we could set the temperature. We didn't use the breakfast, but we had coffee and that was excellent. Good service! Friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere. Also the outside patio area with swimming pool was nice. Sure, at the time we visited there was a heatwave, but it makes both staff and the ambiance so much more important. Much appreciated.

Very good hotel, as almost all the Novotel hotels. Clean, big room, with working desk and sofa, tea-coffe in the room and water boiler, in the bathroom shampoo and shower gel of Rituals, polite personel, you can leave the luggage for some hours after checkout for free and get them later, you can reach the city center by bus, the bus station is close to the hotel, and the airport El Prat Barcelona is about 8km away. The people in reception call a taxi when you need. But you can go to the hotel by public bus even after midnight and the bus ticket costs only 2.40 euros (the taxi is very expensive these hours). I recommend it.

The reception staff and the bar staff were amazing. Not only were they friendly but they were willing to help with everything not just the hotel.

This hotel was a great value and perfect for our trip. We traveled to Barcelona for a concert and another event in the city. We parked at the hotel and took a taxi to the concert and then the next day drove to the other event in the city because we were leaving directly from there. We paid for a late check out and enjoyed the pool with the kids and I didn a few video meetings from lounge area outside the meeting rooms. The hotel is older but decently maintained, and the people we encounterd were all very nice, front desk, night security (he helped us with our bathroom sink - we couldn't find the leaver to open the drain) breakfast, pool, etc.! All the hotels were so expensive so this one worked out great for us!
